NEW TO DISCOVERY?

• Visit the Welcome Desk, fill out a connection card, receive a first time gift, and information pertaining to the church. 
• Restrooms are available inside the church in the lobby as well as in the house behind the tents. 
• Snack and activity bags are available for children, the playground will be open for ages 2-5, and nursing rooms are located in the house and church.​

OUTDOOR WORSHIP INFORMATION

• Vision Sunday- Mark your calendars! Vision Sunday will be September 13th at 5pm! We need everyone there! Pastor Smith will be explaining the vision of the church for the next year. There will be T-shirts, food, worship, and great fellowship! Sign up online or on the app.
• S.T.A.R. Team Volunteers- We need you! God is changing lives every week at Discovery Church, and behind every changed life are the faces of our S.T.A.R. Team Volunteers. Text your name to (828) 855-2200 and get plugged in!
• Prayer Service w/ MorningStar- Mark your calendars! Wednesday, Sept. 16th we will host a combined prayer service with MorningStar Church. It will be at Discovery, beginning at 6:30pm.
• Saturday Serve Day- On September 19th from about 8:30am-12:30pm, Discovery will be going out into the community to Represent Jesus and serve our neighbors! Want to be a part of this awesome day? Sign up online or on the app.   
• The Fundamentals- There will be a new small group study beginning Sept. 20th at 5:45pm in room 101 or on zoom. Discipleship isn't an accident. If you want to start being an intentional disciple then start here! Sign up by clicking this link.​
• The state of NC has announced on June 24, 2020 that face coverings must be worn when people are in public places. In order to be in compliance with the mandate, face coverings must be worn at all times in or outside Discovery Church (where a distance is greater than 6ft is not possible)

• Discovery Lawn Care- Discovery is assembling volunteers who have a desire to serve in the beautification of our church property. If you are interested please contact Eric Plemmons at eplemmons@discoverychurchhickory.com.

• Online Giving- There is an option to give online, not just during the offering. You can find this on the website or Discovery Church HKY App.
