Providing opportunities to share the gospel and serve others through both Short Term Missions and Local Ministry Partnerships
Mission Work
To make and mature disciples through repeated short term mission trips and international mission outreach.
At Discovery we want to support and empower our members to mature in their discipleship by experiencing the joy of serving without the boundaries and pressures of daily activities. Short term mission trips, both domestic and international, are both life-changing and life-saving.
We use a "Helping without Hurting" model and hope to share the love of Christ without doing more harm than good.

Local Missions
Local missions is how we do Community Outreach. We are financially invested in 6 local ministries but seek to serve throughout the community as opportunities arise.
International Missions
International Missions include both ministering to Belize and Haiti. Discovery Church is continuing to develop relationships with people with "boots on the ground" in these countries. Each country has it's unique needs and by working with those who live and work there we can best help them help each other.
BelizeDiscovery Church has been ministering in Belize since 2013. Since then we have had a long standing relationship with The Word at Work and now have a sister church relationship with First Stone Church which ministers to Belize City. To learn more about our trips to Belize, click here.

HaitiDiscovery Church is just beginning to understand how they can help in Haiti. Haiti has unique needs due to their severe poverty and poor living conditions which have been compounded over the last 10 years by the devastation caused by severe earthquakes in 2010.
