Usher Team
Escort members, visitors, and guests as needed to their seats in the Worship Center. Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for adults who will display a courteous, loving, positive, and welcoming attitude to individuals entering and exiting our Worship Center. What you’ll do Arrive 30 minutes before the service in which you are serving to receive position assignment; welcome people entering and exiting the Worship Center; share seating options based on needs; escort people to their seat utilizing seating system; manage the flow of people entering and exiting during the service; attend to the needs of the congregation during the service; maintain order in the sanctuary and ensure that the service runs smoothly; respond to emergency situations during the service. |
S.W.A.T. Team (Set-up Worship and Tear down)
Set-up and tear down the Worship Center and other areas of the facility for weekly worship services and other events as needed. Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for individuals who are capable of and don't mind physical labor. What you’ll do Arrive early before the service or event begins to set up chairs in the Worship Center; set up tables and coffee stations for hospitality areas; put out welcome tent and cones/signage for parking lot; place check-in stations and set up iPads for children's ministry area; tear down and store all of the above after the service or event has ended. |
Parking Team
Direct members, visitors and guests to the best available parking space; control traffic flow entering and exiting parking areas. Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for individuals who will actively and cheerfully engage members, visitors, and guests as they drive into our parking facilities; and for people who don't mind being outside while serving and occasionally being exposed to the elements. What you’ll do Arrive 30 minutes early before the service in which you are serving to receive position assignment; smile, wave, and direct individuals to the best available parking spot; assist families and the elderly as needed, and shuttle via golf cart if needed; speak words of encouragement to all as they exit their vehicle to positively impact individuals before their worship experience. |
Grounds Maintenance Team
Team members will work together in groups once a week to keep up and beautify the outside grounds. This will include lawn mowing, weed eating, mulching, and other items to keep the grounds bright and inviting. Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for individuals who will consistently give of their time once a month to be part of a team to do physical outside labor at the church property. What you’ll do Arrive during the scheduled time to commit to 3 to 4 hours of ground maintenance once a month. There will be teams of three to four people to be responsible to mow the church property's grass, weed eat, and blow off the sidewalks. In addition, there will be opportunities for mulching, planting, sprucing, etc. |
