Building Project Update for 3/10/2026
Upcoming Activity
Pad work complete with the exception of a few loads of dirt. When you look out at the area now you are seeing the final grade of the soil. Add several inches of gravel and several inches of concrete on top of that and you will be at the final gate of the building floor.
Rough grading on the admin wing pad is expected to start next week.
Footer installation will begin next week if the weather allows. These will be the large, rebar reinforced, concrete anchors that will support the steel bones of the building.
You will see them being built two to three at a time throughout the building area.
The final piece of conduit should be installed in the north parking lot this week. Once that is installed Duke Power can be contacted and the installation can be scheduled.
Cabling for the street lights along the entrance and loop road has started being installed. Once the remaining utilities have been located they will be able to complete the installation. Anticipate completion in the next two or three weeks.
The retention pond has been a low priority as the pad has been prepared for main portion of the building project.
We can expect work to be starting back up in two weeks, once the admin wing pad has been prepped.
