About Discovery

Welcome to Discovery Church - where faith comes alive and community feels like family.

Who We Are

Discovery Church is a non-denomination church with a simple mission - to represent Jesus in everything we do.  


We live that out through Five Treasures unlocked by Five Keys:

Our Beliefs

Our foundation comes from Jesus’ words in Luke 4:18–19:  
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me… to bring good news, freedom, sight, healing, and hope.”  

These are the treasures Jesus offers to every life—salvation, freedom, spiritual sight, healing, and joy.  We believe these treasures are unlocked through five keys: invitation, learning, prayer, serving, and gratitude.

Everything we do flows from these truths - and our core beliefs build  on this unshakable foundation and our four essential beliefs are the following: 

The Bible

The Bible is the Word of God. It is the only completely reliable and truthful authority, and we accept it as the basis for all that we believe and as a manual for how we live our lives.

Jesus

Jesus, the Son of God, gave His life on the cross to take our place and rose again to bring us salvation. By trusting in Him, we receive God’s grace. He alone is the bridge between God and those who believe.

Holy Spirit


We are born to know God, but sin separates us from Him. Only His grace—received through repentance and faith—restores that relationship. We must be born of the Spirit to experience true salvation.

Believers

Believers are to be filled with the Holy Spirit. We believe the only way possible to live the Christian life is by God’s power within us, and that every believer can be filled with the Holy Spirit by simply asking.
