Building Project Update for 1/27/2026

Stormwater structures continue being placed.  We initially anticipated all stormwater structures being placed this week but we may need to push into next week due to snow on Monday and Tuesday.

Rough grading continues on pace and on schedule.  Anticipate completion at the end of February or early March.

In the North Parking Lot we are awaiting the installation of a piece of conduit.  It will allow Duke to move forward with the lighting installation.  Scheduling is pending conduit installation.  The grading crew will install the conduit when they have a break in rough grading because grading the pad is a significantly higher priority. 

A plan was finalized for installing the lighting at the entrance and along the loop road.  This will include two road bores under the existing roadway.  One of the bores will accommodate the future lighting connection for the lights that will be installed in the area currently under construction.

The retention pond was anticipated to be completed this week but may be delayed due to weather.  All concrete structures are onsite so work can resume once crews can safely access the area.

Grading contractor continued to install stormwater structures and piping. Poor soil was discovered in the building pad area last week. 21 loads were removed last Friday, with another 37 loads today. We still have not removed all of it. The grading contractor and Ecclesia are meeting with the soil engineer at 8:00am Tuesday to determine current conditions and get approval to start backfill. (5 men) Weather conditions- morning lows in the high teens with daily highs in the mid-40s. Clear skies and sunny.

Grading contractor began moving pipe and structures from the parking area to the silt pond. He will also be checking soil quality. (2 men) Federal Rent-A-Fence installed a new gate in the construction fencing. (2 men) Weather conditions- Morning low in the low 30s with afternoon temps in the high 40s/ low 50s cloudy skies.
