Building Project Update for 7/22/2026

Work continues on schedule.  Walls are built, electrical is complete, and painters have started finishing and painting the walls.

The ceiling grid has been reassembled and panels will be replaced as work is completed and inspected.

Walls are expected to be mostly complete early next week with the final floor grinding starting near the ned of the week.

The roof of building A continues with installation.  Supports and corrugated metal wall panels continue to be placed.

We have installed all security cameras in the current kid's area renovation.  Data cables have been run and patched into the network rack.

Once the walls are painted the data cables will be pulled through the walls, terminated, and tested.

Several security cameras around the exterior of the building have been installed.

During the coming week we will focus on swapping out the last of the old security cameras and equipment.  This will bring us to a place where we have all of the low voltage work caught up with the current building activity.

Worked with Spectrum Business to confirm the route to bring a fiber connection to the building.

Slightly over 1” of rain fell over the weekend, but did not have much effect on work.

The steel erectors continued with installing insulation and roofing on building “A”.  They also cleaned up the site.  (4 men)

The electricians and HVAC techs continued with the above ceiling rough-ins for the children’s area.  (5 men) 

The framing contractor hung drywall and began finishing.  (4 men)

1/2” of rain fell overnight.

The steel erectors continued with roofing and siding on building “A”.  They also began framing in windows on the side of the building.  (11 men)

The electricians continued with the above ceiling rough-in in the children’s area (2 men).

Inspections were scheduled for Wednesday for the duct seal.

The framing contractor continued hanging and finishing drywall.  (4 men)

 All glass delivered the interior doors for the children's area.

A video meeting was held with HVAC, AVL, Fire sprinkler, Architect, and the church to discuss HVAC layout and coordinate with all trades.

Both dumpsters were emptied and returned.

The steel erector continued to install siding.  (11 men).

The utility contractor poured the pad for the backflow preventer.  (2 men)

The electrical contractor continued with the above ceiling rough-in  (2men).

Duct seal inspection was performed and passed for the children’s area renovation.

The framing contractor continued finishing the drywall.  (2 men)

Concrete contractor formed and poured concrete for column footings on building B.  (4 men)

The concrete flooring finisher provided three more floor color samples. (3 men)

The steel erector continued with wall panel installation.  (8 men)

Drywall finishers continued with finishing in the children’s area.  (2 men)

The electricians continued with the above ceiling rough-in.  (2 men)

Grading contractor installed gutter drains on the back side of building A.  ( 2 men)

The mechanical contractor installed duct insulation.

The electricians repaired the pipe in building A that was damaged by the steel erectors.  (2 men)
