Building Project Update for 9/16/2026

All trades continued work in Building A.  The steel erectors completed their scope of work and departed the site.  You will notice that the future parking area is much cleaner now that all of their materials and equipment have been removed.

Last Wednesday we wrote our messages on the steel and aluminum studs.  Since then drywall contractors have covered much of the exterior walls with drywall.  It won't be long before all of our messages are completely covered.

Tons of work is being done overhead as the air handling system has started being installed.

All the framing in the church office area of Building B was completed (in no time at all).  They still haven't started in the kitchen section but that zone is on a completely separate schedule.  You can now clearly see how this space is organized.

Most of the week was spent removing the exterior of the area at the interface of the existing building and Building C.  Before demolition was even completed the grading work began and we are waiting to hear back from the inspector about the soil condition under the building space.

Labor Day

Steel erectors performed a walk around to inspect steel on building “A” and “B”.  A punch list was made and work began to address items noted on the list.  (2 men)

Electricians continued with wall rough-in in building “A”.  (3 men)

RT Meacham continued with wall framing in building “A”.   They also continued with exterior wall sheathing.  (8 men)

Plumbing (2 men)

Electrical (2 men) and mechanical (10 men) contractors continued rough-in in building “A”

Concrete contractor formed back entrance steps and walkway.  (3 men)

Demo began on rear entrance to prepare for building “C”.  (6 men)

Erector completed a punch list for building “A”and “B”.”  (2 men)
Framing & sheathing (8 men)

Electrical (2 men), and mechanical (10 men) rough-ins continued in building “A.”

Concrete contractor poured back entrance steps and walkway.  (4 men)

Demo continued at rear entrance.  (6 men)
