Construction Communication (11/9/2025)
We are thrilled to see construction on our new worship center underway!
Your safety, accessibility, and comfort are very important to us.
Accessibility Updates
● We know the current handicapped parking setup isn’t working as well as we hoped. Thank you for your patience and grace as we adjust.
● The good news: work has begun on paving North Lot, right behind the building. Once complete, this area will serve as dedicated handicapped parking for the remainder of the construction project.
● The North Lot will include a wheelchair ramp for easy and direct access into the building.
● Weather has caused some delays, but we expect the North Lot to be ready in about three weeks, weather permitting.
Progress & Weather Delays
● Recent rain has slowed down some of our grading and site preparation work, which affects the early parts of our schedule.
● Our team and contractors are reviewing timelines and working to get us back on track as quickly as possible.
● We’re praying for clear skies and steady progress ahead!
Lighting & Safety Improvements
● We’re partnering with Duke Power to install new lighting across the property, covering the entry road, loop road, gravel lot, and back parking area.
● We’re also adding lighting behind the current building to make sure stairs and walkways are well-lit and safe for everyone, especially during evening events.
