Construction Update (12/4/2025)

Construction has been moving forward but you may not have saw some of it unless you were walking through the woods. Before Thanksgiving the permit to begin grading arrived and our crew jumped into action. You have seen the handicap lot continue to come together but we have also moved to the back of the property and started the process of digging our retention pond.
Handicap Lot
Since the last update three major elements have been completed. First, we have installed the conduits required to install street lights once the drive is complete. Second, the concrete islands have been installed, and today the final grade of gravel was leveled out in preparation for final paving.
At the beginning of next week the lot will be paved. We can expect this lot to be closed for several day. I am hoping that it will be available by the Wed. evening prayer service but if not then we should have it by Sunday.

Retention Pond
At the very back of the property, behind the new Facilities Building, the trees are almost cleared and the area has been staked. This is a large area and will be dug about seven and a half feet deep. That may not sound like much but that is going to be a really big hole to dig. This retention pond has been sized to manage all rain water for the entire property so we won't have to dig another pond again regardless of how the campus develops in the future.
