VoIP Phone System Sandbox
I wanted to let you know about a project I have been working on. Currently the church uses what is essentially a legacy phone system. This works well for what it is but as we get ready to move into a new administrative space I have decided to explore moving the campus to a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) system.
This system will give the staff a huge number of options to improve call management and handling. Ideally we will get people connected faster and easier than we currently do. The current system works well because people are running around behind the scenes getting you connected. It's 2025 and I am thinking we can make some improvements.
Early next week I will have a new VoIP system rolled out at the Roseman House. This system will allow us to reduce our monthly phone bill significantly as well as creating a sandbox we can use for testing and training for a rollout into the new administrative wing when it comes online.
