Building Project Update for 4/28/2026
Upcoming Activity
The retention pond grading is now completed. Grass seed was placed yesterday and straw will be blown over it once the bad weather moves on.
The work in this area continues. There are A LOT of moving parts between fabrication, installation, inspections, and testing. Footers are the outer edge of the structure of Building A are nearing completion and work on the interior footers are well under way.
The plumber is onsite to install the plumbing infrastructure that will be placed in the Building A pad before the slab is poured. There is also ongoing work in relocating the new kitchen grease trap to a more accessible and convenient location.
Later this week or next week the electrician will be onsite to begin installing their infrastructure.
All under slab work is scheduled to be in-place by May 8th.
The slab pour date is continuing to firm up as progress is made. As of now the target date to pour the full slab is June 4th. Obviously that can move but all hands are on deck to make the date.
If the slab can be poured in early June then it will need at least one week to cure. Primary steel erection is scheduled to begin July 1st. This portion will focus on the major structural steel elements and the smaller structures will follow once that largest structures are in place.
Focus is currently shifting from design work to placing a conduit from the main building to the Roseman House. This week we are hand digging the portion that runs along the retaining wall. Next week we will trench in the portion that runs across lawn and into the Roseman House. Then the week after will be able to focus on pulling the fiber optic cable between the buildings.
