Building Project Update for 5/5/2026
Upcoming Activity
We will continue to dig and pour footings for building “A”. The interior footings of building "A" are nearing completion. Retaining wall foundations are being inspected and covered. We will also continue forming retaining walls and pouring as weather permits.
The plumbing and electrical contractors are working on underslab utility rough-ins as weather permits.
Conduit from the main building to the Roseman House is still in the process of being trenched in. Weather has created several delays. We hope to have the conduit installed by next week along with all necessary pulling line in preparation for pulling fiber optic cable.
Last Week's Activity
4/27/2026 through 5/01/2026
3/4 “ 0f rain fell over the weekend. Very little standing water in the footings that were previously dug.
The concrete contractor removed forms from the retaining wall poured on Friday. (4 men)
The grading contractor continued to work on the detention pond, installing more baffles and preparing the area for seeding. (6 men)
Rain began early this morning with about 1/2 “ and continued falling throughout the day.
We had our weekly “Safety and Alignment meeting at 9:00. Met afterwards with the
plumbing, masonry, and sprinkler contractors to go over scheduling and concerns.
A site safety check was performed, and a few minor issues were pointed out and addressed.
We also addressed a roof leak that was discovered. No work was completed as the site was too wet.
Concrete contractor continues to remove wall form boards. They also ran pumps to remove water from the footings that were opened. (3 men)
We received about ⅜” of rain yesterday afternoon, which made things wet and muddy but didn’t hamper the concrete contractor from removing forms and digging footings. They also continue to install rebar in the footings previously dug. (4 men)
The plumbing contractor came to look over the site and do the layout for the underslab plumbing. (2 men)
The concrete contractor installed waterproofing along specified wall footings. (3 men)
The concrete contractor continued with rebar and anchor bolt installation.
The third party inspector was onsite checking soils and rebar.
The grading contractor spread straw around the detention pond to stabilize the soil. This means the detention pond is essentially complete.
