Building Project Update for 5/12/2026
Upcoming Activity
Footers are continuing on building A and coming along great. No poor soils were found in an area where there were some concerns so that is a benefit. Footer placement is on schedule for a 6/1 slab pour.
Footers for building B have been started and are making progress.
The foundation for the fire wall has been poured and is curing. The brick masons are expected on site Monday (5/18) and moving in their materials with work starting on the wall after they get settled in
The building A slab is on schedule for a pour date of 6/1 to 6/3 depending on the weather.
Between the fire wall going vertical and the huge building A slab going horizontal...the project site is going to start taking shape quickly throughout June. It will start looking like a building very quickly.
The plumbers are nearing completion on their work for under the slab. They have a bit more work and then inspections. After inspections they will backfill their trenches in preparation for the slab pour.
The electricians completed the installation of the AVL (Audio, Video, & Lights) conduits that are going under the slab. Our AVL contractor inspected the work yesterday and was pleased with the work.
The electricians are continuing with their electrical under slab work. They are also on schedule for the 6/1 slab pour.
The trench to the Roseman House was created and conduit was placed and covered. The optical cable was pulled in and now the house is online. This means that all buildings on the campus that have ministry taking place in them have a hardline connection that will allow for full access to technology resources and capacity to expand into the future as needed.
I am now working on updating the Discipleship Building. If you have a PIN number to access the Discipleship Building I will be creating an electronic access badge for you. If your PIN currently works on the main building it will continue even after we move to badge access on the Discipleship Building. Once I have the badges ready to distribute we will swap out the current PIN pad for the new style card reader that we will be using throughout the campus and the building project moves forward.
