This Week's Building Project Talking Points

•  We’re excited to share that structural steel for the new building is officially arriving! About half of the steel was delivered this week, and the remaining steel will arrive in the first week of January 2026. This is a significant milestone and a clear signal that primary construction is about to begin. 

•  Another big win: the new handicapped parking lot is fully paved and will open on Sunday, January 11, 2026. This lot provides direct access to the building through the back door, making arrival easier and more comfortable for many in our church family. 

•  If you’re parking in the handicapped lot and arrive before or between services, you’re welcome to use the ramp that leads straight to the back door and directly into the sanctuary. 

•  If you arrive during a service, shuttles will be running continuously and will bring you right to the front door for easy access. 

•  We want to say a heartfelt thank you for your flexibility, patience, and encouragement. It has been a long season of planning and preparation, but we are now stepping into the most exciting phase, primary construction is about to begin. 

•  We truly believe God is preparing something special for Discovery, and this new space represents growth, opportunity, and lives yet to be changed. Thank you for walking this journey with us. We can’t wait for what’s ahead!
