DPOD
Discovery Path of Discipleship
Connection Groups and DPOD
Hear from Pastor Smith about the differences between Connection/Small Groups and DPOD (Discovery Path of Discipleship)

Love God
The love of God is a love that brings belonging, acceptance, peace, and purpose. It is a love that casts out fear and is perfectly demonstrated through the life of Jesus. In this journey, you will engage with biblical truth, recovery principles, and practical spiritual disciplines that help you understand how deeply God loves you and how that love transforms every area of your life.
As you grow in His love, you will discover greater freedom to love God wholeheartedly and experience the security and identity that can only be found in Him.

See God
Seeing God is more than believing He exists, it is learning to recognize His presence and activity in your everyday life. God reveals Himself through His Word, creation, relationships, the work of the Holy Spirit, and the ways He moves in and around us. Throughout this journey, you will use biblical truth, personality insights, and recovery principles as tools for developing a new perspective.
As your spiritual awareness grows, you will begin to recognize God's hand more clearly, allowing your faith to become not only something you believe but something you continually experience.

Experience Healing
God desires for each of us to experience healing, not simply relief from pain, but restoration in our relationship with Him, with others, and with ourselves. Along the way, many of us have developed coping patterns such as control, withdrawal, perfectionism, or people-pleasing. These responses often began as protection, but over time they can become barriers to the healing God longs to bring.
Through biblical truth, recovery principles, and authentic community, this journey will help you recognize unhealthy patterns, embrace God's restoring grace, and experience the lasting healing that comes through surrendering every part of your life to Him.

Finding Freedom
Jesus came so that we could live in true freedom, not simply freedom from sin's penalty, but freedom from the habits, hurts, lies, and strongholds that keep us from becoming who God created us to be. Many of the things that hold us back are rooted in fear, shame, unforgiveness, or unhealthy beliefs that quietly shape the way we live.
Through biblical truth, recovery principles, and intentional relationships, this journey will help you identify what is keeping you stuck, replace lies with God's truth, and walk in the freedom Christ has already made available to you.

Discover Joy
Joy is more than a passing emotion or a response to favorable circumstances. It is a deep confidence in God's goodness that remains steady through every season of life. When we learn to trust God fully and live according to His purpose, joy becomes the strength that sustains us.
Through biblical truth, spiritual practices, and authentic community, this journey will help you cultivate gratitude, embrace God's purpose for your life, and discover the lasting joy that comes from walking closely with Him each day.
Registration opens September 17th at 6:00am

What is DPOD?
Discovery Path of Discipleship (DPOD) is a small, caring community where you can explore the heart of Jesus and grow deeper in your faith.
Each group journeys through one of Discovery's 5 Treasures - Love God, See God, Find Freedom, Experience Healing, and Discover Joy - inviting you to uncover all God desires for your life.

Why it Matters?
Everyone longs to be seen, known, and loved just as they are. DPOD offers a safe place to reflect honestly on your story, gently reveal what might be holding you back, and step into the abundant life God lovingly offers.
